The Gentleman Tradesman constructed a garden arbour for us that we bought as a kit from the garden centre. And it looks even better than the one they had on display.

Originally from Australia, I've lived in the London N20 area for 25 years and I've never hired a tradesman to build or repair anything - but I've always heard how unprofessional and unavailable they are in London. So I thought I might be able to do something about that problem.
The famous (Robinson Crusoe) author Daniel Defoe wrote, "Tradesmen become Gentlemen, when Gentlemen become Tradesmen." I'd argue any tradesman becomes a Gentleman, simply by pricing his work fairly and doing it properly. That doesn't sound that difficult to me.
